Administration
- Direct reports Learning and development plans

- Mid-year and end of year - Staff checkpoints
- Manage Leave and Travel requests
- Facilitating Product Training
- Facilitating business partner workshops/days in-field
- Recruitment
- Staff onboarding
- Review and oversee Complaints, Recalls and Returns
- Attend QA RA meetings
Sales Strategy and Implementation
- Pricing/Trial and Loan Equipment - Approvals/Agreements
- Competitor landscape and marketing
- Product Assessment - New Markets
- Attend regular 1 on 1 with Marketing Manager
- Update One Page Sales Plan/Review with team at the end of each quarter
- CRM/Pipeline review for forecasting and checking compliance from the team
- Sales and Inventory forecasting with purchasing/customer service
- Sales Meetings/Team get togethers
- Planning conferences that we attend for lead generation
- Pricing/Tenders/Contracts
Direct Customer Support - KOL/KAM
- Meeting/Developing relationships with KOL's
- Presentations to key accounts
- Business Partner engagement
- Coordinating Workshops - Organising Agreements and arrangements
Reporting
- Emails & Actions from phone calls and 1 on 1s
- Expenses (including team approval)
- Monthly reporting - Results / KPI's
- ROI on conference spend/demo equipment/workshops
Role Objectives
- Ensure that regional sales goals and targets are achieved through the relevant sales teams.
- Develop a high performing sales team through effective coaching and motivation strategies
- Apply effective forecasting and inventory management strategies to support business Goals
- Manage operating costs within budget control operating costs
- Develop a suitable succession plan
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years sales experience, preferably within the medical/surgical industry
- Experience in successful field sales and staff management
- Commitment to ongoing training in business development
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated competence in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to liaise and communicate with other senior professionals within the business
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Experience in designing and implementing Sales Force Effectiveness programs
- Experience in Healthcare Industry in relevant field
- Experience in mentoring sales staff
Requirements
- Based in Sydney or Melbourne
- Current unencumbered full driver’s license
- Police Check and working with children check
- Compliance with MTAA Code of Practice and Australian Vendor Credentialing Standards working with Health Facilities
- This role requires occasional weekend and evening work e.g. attendance at conferences
- Ability to travel up to 60%
