Join a leading global medical device company dedicated to advancing wound care solutions and improving patient outcomes worldwide.

 

They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand market presence in the wound care segment working at a corporate level with aged care providers as well as distributor / wholesale channels.

 

This role will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities within these markets, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth through innovative approaches and market insights.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Through market research and analysis identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges within the wound care space.
  • Develop strategic plans and initiatives to capitalise on identified opportunities.
  • Proactively seek out and establish relationships with key stakeholders including healthcare providers, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Negotiate and close agreements to drive business expansion and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product management, and sales to develop compelling value propositions for the wound care products and solutions.
  • Achieve sales targets and objectives by effectively managing the sales pipeline, driving opportunities through to closure, and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align business development efforts with overall company objectives. Provide insights and feedback to support continuous improvement of products and services.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development or corporate account experience within the medical device industry. Wound care experience would be highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Be able to self-start and self-motivate and work autonomously at times
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
