Position Overview:
This position is newly created within the Victoria (General Surgery) team and has a Melbourne territory focus. The role is theatre based but with no 'on call' and overall a much better work/ life balance compared but certain clinical roles within devices.
Responsibilities:
- Selling within the theatre/ hospital world to a range of specialist areas: general surgery, laparoscopic, colorectal, bariatric etc.
- Covering cases when required (being the product expert)
- Looking for opportunities to up-sell and to drive increased adoption of your products
- Attending conferences and trade shows to drive awareness of the company and products
- Work closely with the marketing team to align on best strategy for your customers
Desired experience:
- Nursing background (Scrub/ theatre nurse)
- Experience in General Surgery, Laparoscopic, Biosurgery, Colorectal, Bariatrics, Gynaecology, Urology would be highly desired
- Clinical Specialist device candidates looking to move into a sales
- Sales experience outside of industry or initial sales within devices
