Job Description

Our client is a global, Medical Device manufacturer who are a household name across various specialty and product areas including: General Surgery, Critical Care, Urology, Gastroenterology, Cardiovascular etc.

They offer fantastic training and onboarding and there are plenty of opportunities for career development and progression within the organisation.

Position Overview:

This position is newly created within the Victoria (General Surgery) team and has a Melbourne territory focus. The role is theatre based but with no 'on call' and overall a much better work/ life balance compared but certain clinical roles within devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Selling within the theatre/ hospital world to a range of specialist areas: general surgery, laparoscopic, colorectal, bariatric etc.
  • Covering cases when required (being the product expert)
  • Looking for opportunities to up-sell and to drive increased adoption of your products
  • Attending conferences and trade shows to drive awareness of the company and products
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align on best strategy for your customers

Desired experience:

  • Nursing background (Scrub/ theatre nurse)
  • Experience in General Surgery, Laparoscopic, Biosurgery, Colorectal, Bariatrics, Gynaecology, Urology would be highly desired
  • Clinical Specialist device candidates looking to move into a sales 
  • Sales experience outside of industry or initial sales within devices
