The Company

Our client is a global and highly successful Medical Device manufacturer who are a household name across various specialty and product areas including: General Surgery, Critical Care, Urology, Gastroenterology, Cardiovascular etc.

They offer fantastic training and onboarding and there are plenty of opportunities for career development and progression within the organisation.

The Role

This position has been newly developed within the Melbourne/ Victoria (General Surgery) team and has a Melbourne territory focus. The role is theatre based but with no 'on call' and overall a much better work/ life balance compared but certain clinical roles within devices.

  • Selling within the theatre/ hospital world to a range of specialist areas: general surgery, laparoscopic, colorectal, bariatric etc.
  • Covering cases when required (being the product expert)
  • Looking for opportunities to up-sell and to drive increased adoption of your products
  • Attending conferences and trade shows to drive awareness of the company and products
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align on best strategy for your customers

About You

  • Experience in General Surgery, Laparoscopic, Biosurgery, Colorectal, Bariatrics, Gynaecology, Urology would be highly desired
  • A role that would suit a Clinical specialist stepping into sales or a nurse with sales experience outside of Medical Devices
  • Degree qualified (science, business, nursing etc.)
  • Nursing or clinical background would be great but not a prerequisite
